What happened next at DeviantArt was quite amazing. Instead of saying "EEEEAACK! What a nasty, ugly creature! Away with it!" Lots of people expressed their sympathy and felt pitty for Elsa, the evil sofa-gnome, who used Kyoko´s TimeVisioner™ to conceil her true looks, trying to be someone else. That´s why I did the next picture, where Elsa says "Thank You". If you want the full story to the Elsa-Project, simply read on :)

The Full Story

It started off as a joke. I wanted to use one of the evil sofa-gnomes that I had mentioned in "Letters To Kyoko 15" to explain a huge delay in answering a letter Kyoko received.

After this I had all sorts of ideas in my head with the evil sofa-gnomes; some of them VERY pornographic :D and quite unsuitable for DeviantArt. Anyway, when doing "Letters 22" I invented the female version of the sofa-gnomes and this image of a huge-breasted, angry and basically ugly and through and through evil creature intrigued me.

I am an atheist. All my life I have private-studied the world religions, out of personal interest and one of the most colourful characters is the christian idea of Satan. If I would be Satan and I would want to roam the earth, then I would not appear as a cloven hooved, smelly red billy-goat with a funny tail, but I would disguise myself as the sweetest, cutest creature on earth and of course I would be female :D

Elsa had the chance to disguise herself using Kyoko´s TimeVisionier™, which is basically a "What If..."-machine, Kyoko found as an alien artefact on some planet, during her travels as interplanetary archeologist and for me it was only natural, that she, being nasty, ugly and unattractive, would have the deepest wish to appear young, cute and sexy. I mean, we ALL have that desire, somehow, don´t we? Well, I have anyway :D

So I introduced Elsa with the only purpose to let her drop her disguise one day - to give you, my generous watchers, that little comedy-kick, that is supposed to make you smile for a moment. And you were playing game oh so brilliantly! Your reactions to Elsa were more then I expected from minute one on, when she cut off Kyoko´s favourite mushroom.

The punishment followed in Messages From Kyoko 03"where you could find out, that Elsa liked to be punished and actually developed quite a lot of "happy-juice", when being horse-whipped.
I let her make another appearence in "Letters 23", where she provoced another punishment and then it was time to carefully prepare the ground for the big transformation :)

Then we had the little poll-project starting, where Kyoko asked you, how to get her TimeVisioner™ back, that was taken by Elsa. And you were PERFECT! I had such a great time doing the project :D
Your suggestions and general participation gave me quite a boost and your totally blunt ideas for how to trick Elsa made me having fun even more!

Finally I set up the poll-trap for you- if you would have voted for anything else apart from "Switch Off The TimeVisioner™", I would have been in trouble - but the majority played along. In the fourth part, Elsa was finally unmaskedand again you posted so many wonderful comments, for which I thank you very much :D

I was ready to dump Elsa. She had served her purpose and I have to admit, that I couldn´t STAND Elsa as a catgirl! Far too cute! Too cliché :D and I didn´t even consider her feelings as a Sofa-gnome.

But now some of you, especially Ieda :iconiedasb:, felt sorry for Elsa, the evil sofa-gnome. And that was a surprise for me. I decided to start a poll, asking, if that ugly, nasty, thieving creature, who gave you and Kyoko so much trouble, should get her own TimeVisioner™ to be able to upkeep her disguise as a nekomimi permanently. And surprisingly the HUGE majority has voted for "YES! Let her have her own TimeVisioner™ and let her join the catgirl-club".

Wow!

I was seriously moved.

You know, this is a prime example that can be applied not only do DeviantArt. Or the Internet. Or catgirls. Or comics. It can also be applied to foreigners. To homosexuals. To transsexuals. To disabled people. To people having fatal diseases. To all sorts of marginalized groups. If you show this attitude to an evil sofa-gnome, then you will show this attitude to anyone else aswell and THAT means, human kind is basically good - it also means, there is hope for this planet - although, as Kyoko has already said, it needs ears.

I have drawn this next picture for you - it is my award for you being awesome. Also there is a transparent background version without text, that you can use uncommercially at your will.

Thank You for reading and thank you for your decision. You have saved a cat-girls life :D
